"A bad policy in my state of CT has robbed me, my teammates as well as every other female track athlete in my state of the opportunity to compete on a level playing field", Soule said. "In Florida, we are ensuring that there are legal consequences to pay for being on the wrong side of history". It will go into effect on July 1.

"This Pride Month, and every month, we must send a strong message to transgender and nonbinary youth that they should be proud of who they are and deserve the same rights and opportunities as everyone else".
