Netflix Inc said on Tuesday it will release more than 70 movies this year to its USA customers across comedy, drama, family and other genres, a lineup that underscores the streaming service's growing prominence in the film business.

Also included in the line-up of films is the latest project from The Piano's Jane Campion, The Power Of The Dog, and The Young Pope's Paolo Sorrentino, The Hand of God, as well as Man Of Steel director Zack Snyder's new film - Army Of The Dead.

The political satire stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence as two astronomers tasked with alerting the planet to an impending asteroid.

We don't know when theaters will be able to start screening movies as normal, but Netflix has plenty of big releases coming our way this year which should more than fill the void.

The Netflix 2021 schedule includes 18 dramas, nine thrillers, eight animated films and eight romances.
