A tropical storm watch was issued for the coast of southeastern Florida from south of Jupiter Inlet to north of Ocean Reef.

"Rene is moving toward the west-northwest near 13 m.p.h".

At 6pm yesterday, the storm was 1,844 miles east-southeast of the island and moving west-northwest at 10mph.

The NHC is advising persons with interest in Bermuda to monitor Tropical Storm Paulette. While some restrengthening is forecast during the next day or two, weakening is expected to begin by Sunday night.

The fourth system is near the coast of Africa and is expected to turn north.
