Murray, who won his first major title in NY in 2012, will be joined by a cast of Americans that includes Ulises Blanch, Maxime Cressy, Sebastian Korda, Thai-Son Kwiatkowski, Michael Mmoh, Brandon Nakashima and JJ Wolf.

Murray, a former world No. 1, missed the direct cut-off list and will be taking part in his first US Open since 2018.

The 33-year-old won the first of his three Grand Slam titles at the 2012 US Open, becoming the first British male to win a major since Fred Perry in 1936.

Liverpool and Leicester to battle for Olympiakos left-back
The Reds do not have any natural cover for the Scotsman with James Milner largely the man tasked with filling that void. The one thing that appears certain is that Tsimikas will be joining Liverpool.

The 2012 US Open champion looked to be quite in a good shape when playing a couple of competitions in the last few weeks to get the right confidence boost to play the US Open.

The tournament will take place in a quarantined setting from August 31 to September 13 in NY.

Kim Clijsters has also been handed a wildcard spot into the women's singles draw.

Clijsters has won three US Open titles, in 2005, 2009 and 2010, and announced late last year she would be coming out of retirement after seven years away from top-level tennis.

Despite a loss in revenue from holding its marquee event without spectators amid the coronavirus pandemic, the U.S. Tennis Association announced Wednesday that its overall compensation to players at this year's U.S. Open will be $53.4 million - which is 93.3% of the roughly $57.2 million awarded in 2019. Professional tennis was suspended in March because of the pandemic, leaving many players, coaches and others without a regular income.

2020 is quite an uncharacteristic year and something (even more) unusual has happened at the US Open on the occasion of the wildcard awarding. The women's tour resumed this week in Palermo, Italy; the first men's tournament is later this month.

Des jeux par millions ce trimestre! Néanmoins, le point culminant est sur Animal Crossing: New Horizons. L'épidémie de COVID-19 avait affecté les ventes depuis l'apparition de la pandémie en décembre dernier.

The men are Ulises Blanch, Maxime Cressy, Sebastian Korda, Thai-Son Kwiatkowski, Michael Mmoh, Brandon Nakashima and JJ Wolf.
