Blue Jays' Travis Shaw: Summer bubble 'not an option'

"They're really happy to be in Toronto and we're ready to go". The club wants to play at the Rogers Centre, but the situation remains unclear due to restrictions on travel between the US and Canada amid the coronavirus pandemic. Teams will operate their own isolation at stadiums and hotels as they host opponents and travel to road games. Martin will most likely head to Toronto for consumption screening prior to signing up with the Blue Jays' summertime camp.

According to Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News, the Jays have reached out to the owners of their Triple-A team, the Buffalo Bisons, to talk about possibly headquartering there instead of in Toronto for the duration of the coronavirus-shortened 60-game season. The Blue Jays' first home game is set for July 29 against Washington.
