Low number of new Covid-19 cases reported ahead of Phase 3 of reopening tomorrow

The National Public Health Emergency Team has announced that a further six people have died in Ireland after contracting Covid-19.

There has now been a total of 1,735 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland, with a total of 25,439 confirmed cases.

The figure of 25,439 confirmed cases reflects the denotification of one case.

The latest available figures show Offaly has a recorded total of 483 people with coronavirus while Laois figures remain at 265 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
