After having its filming interrupted by fallout of COVID-19, Netflix's second season of its The Witcher adaptation is finally set to get back underway on August 17.

The announcement from the official The Witcher social media, which you can check out below, reads less like an announcement and more like something Jaskier the bard might compose about the production once again resuming. Season 2 was halted due to the pandemic, but it seems the necessary precautions are being taken, and work will resume mid-August.

Slowly but surely we are starting to see some major United Kingdom projects head back into production on Brit shores.

Netflix has officially confirmed that the second season of its popular series The Witcher will restart production on 17 August 2020. Hivju will appear in the second season of "The Witcher" as Nivellen, a supporting character who Geralt helps in many adventures throughout the franchise.
