NASA's Crew Dragon astronauts enter International Space Station

NASA astronauts aboard SpaceX rocket for historic flight

Watch SpaceX and NASA make history

The launch marks several milestones: It is the first time in almost a decade that astronauts have been sent to space from U.S. soil, the first crewed mission for SpaceX and the first time a privately developed spacecraft launched humans into Earth's orbit.

Hurley and Behnken were the astronauts selected by NASA to participate in Crew Dragon's Demo-2 mission, which successfully launched on May 30 from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Both AC/DC and Black Sabbath's iconic tunes played during the mission saw themselves as quite fitting, with "Back In Black" serving as an anthem for the space program comeback, as this joint mission between Elon Musk's SpaceX company and NASA is the first mission of its kind from the United States since 2011. "Their incredible efforts over the last several years to make this possible cannot go overstated".

After nearly a decade, NASA was able to send a manned rocket to the ISS (International Space Station), from the historic grounds of The Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Fla. The vehicle is made to be autonomous and did so by docking with the ISS using various sensors and and cameras which allowed it to guide itself towards the ISS right above earth. This bodes well for the future of crewed flights to space. "He's got a note: 'Do not forget to take with Crew Dragon'". The achievement, years in the making, is expected to drive down launch costs so more people might be able to afford a ticket to space in the coming years.

Biden wins enough delegates to clinch US Democratic nomination
According to the poll, 53 percent of respondents disapproved of Donald Trump's actions as president, while 45 percent approved. He continued: "I truly believe that when we stand together, finally, as One America, we will rise stronger than before".

"We're really at the dawn of a new space age", NASA deputy administrator Jim Morhard said during the Nasdaq ceremony.

"Without further ado, we would like to welcome you aboard capsule Endeavour", Hurley said.

The astronauts also took some time off by closing their eyes before the Crew Dragon dock to the ISS. "However the Dragon is a slick vehicle and we had good airflow so we had an excellent evening". "On Shuttle, we felt the docking". While they're there, the Dragon test pilots will join NASA's Cassidy and two Russian station residents in performing experiments and possibly spacewalks to install fresh station batteries.

The time the docking took place was about 10:29AM ET. The predecessor to the capsule, SpaceX's cargo Dragon, did not have this capability when it delivered supplies and food to the ISS. This is SpaceX's second spaceflight test of its Crew Dragon and its first test with astronauts aboard, and will pave the way for its certification for regular crew flights to the station as part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program.

Florida coronavirus: 62,758 cases, 2,688 deaths
Miami-Dade County which has 13% of the state's population, has 30.1% of the state's cases and 28.3% of the deaths. Most of the patients hospitalized are 65 or older, as are most of the reported deaths, according to the state.

Endeavour in the shadow of the ISS. The space capsule also has four massive capsule which will bring them safely to the Atlantic Ocean where they will be retrieved by SpaceX ship.

Their mission is to test the completely validate the SpaceX equipment that is used in the manned mission.

This automated docking capability is a significant upgrade for the Crew Dragon. Hurley was on that last shuttle crew.
