I'm gonna be here to wipe your tears. "There's a lot of stuff you said that he's gonna miss - that I'm gonna be there for". George Floyd's death in Minneapolis has brought in the need for change and chance that everyone was looking for.

This Tuesday, the site TMZ released the amount of the check Mayweather sent to the family of the deceased: $ 88,500.

Hollywood Unlocked broke the news Monday that the retired American boxer told the publication's founder CEO Jason Lee about his commitment to take care of all Floyd's funeral expenses. Floyd's family requested that his funeral be "grandiose, quot; and they were tirelessly searching to find a place for all expected attendees to pay their respects, which is probably why the funeral had to require tickets". In a post on social media, the 15-time major victor wrote: "My heart goes out to George Floyd, his loved ones and all of us who are hurting right now".

The memorial was being held just one day after the main officer involved, Derek Chauvin, had his third-degree murder charges upgraded to second-degree.

The 43-year-old Mayweather is said to have been so frustrated with the way George Floyd lost his life in the hands of the police, who refused to allow him to stand.

Violent protests have broken out across the United States since Floyd's death, during which he was filmed crying out for help as he was handcuffed and pinned to the ground.
