In partnership with Ontario Health, Public Health Ontario, local public health units, and hospital and community laboratories, our government has developed an integrated laboratory system which has established the province as a national leader in daily testing volumes per capita.

Premier Doug Ford says the approach that started in Windsor will be expanded starting with certain sectors this weekend.

"We are investing nearly $2 million to create a virtual action centre to help impacted workers upgrade their skills as we gradually and safely reopen the economy", Ford said.

But in places like Toronto, which can see upwards of 200 cases a day, it's harder to track down all the sources of infection, Williams said. "But in saying that, I do have confidence in Ontario Health and with the public health (officials)".
