This morning, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a Mother's Day message on their Instagram, @kensingtonroyal, which included several images.

A caption accompanying the pictures read, "To mothers new and old and families spending today together and apart-we are thinking of you all at this hard time". The Cambridges also shared a poignant snap of William and brother Prince Harry with their late mother Princess Diana.
