It also won White another Emmy, this time for Best Lead Comedic Actress.

No word on what she's up to this year, but she obviously knows how to party.

She is also recognised as the first woman to produce a sitcom which was Life with Elizabeth, which contributed to her receiving the honorary title Mayor of Hollywood in 1955.

She is not called the "first lady of television" for nothing!

It should be noted that the Nigerian-born singer was born in 1959 in Ibadan, Oyo state, and has throughout her music career served as a source of inspiration to many.
