Fair catches are permitted (though disincentivized - see Rationale) Double forward pass If a team completes a forward pass behind the line of scrimmage, that team may throw a second forward pass, as long as the ball has at no time crossed the line of scrimmage. The play clock will be 25 seconds instead of 40, and players only need to get one foot in pounds for possession. It's being played at a very high level but there are things as fans that we don't like.

Overtime will be conducted much like shootouts in soccer and hockey. The coverage team lines up on the return side 35-yard line and the return team lines up on the 30-yard line.

The one-foot-in-bounds completions should ease the strain on pass catchers - and officials.

Nine News understands QF9 from Perth to London and QF10 London to Perth are the only Qantas flights affected by the change. Malaysia Airlines will avoid the conflict airspace of Iran, following the recent military tensions in the region.

Blandino will take part in an AMA later today to discuss the rules of the XFL. Rather, a scoring team can go for one point from the 2-yard line, two points from the 5 or three points from 10.

Kickoffs will be from the 30 yard line. Each team will have five single-play possessions from the five yard line. "We wanted to take a step forward by going back to games under three hours based on all our fan research".

- A tiered point system allows teams to go for one point from the 2-yard line, two points from the 5-yard line and three points from the 10-yard line. If the score is still tied after those attempts, the rotating possessions will continue until there is a victor. Teams will rotate plays from the 5-yard line; the victor will be determined by the most successful tries after five rounds. Out of bounds kicks and kicks that fall short of the 20-yard line will result in an illegal procedure penalty, taking the ball all the way out to the kicking team's 45 yard line. Every time a team scores, it gets two points.

The friction is rooted in the 2018 U.S. decision to withdraw from a nuclear deal signed in 2015 between Iran and world powers. President Donald Trump's assertions that he would bomb Iranian cultural sites despite global prohibitions on such attacks.

Numerous rules were designed to create more action and less idle time, including 10-minute halftimes, instead of the 15 minutes at National Football League games and 20 minutes at college games. If the teams still are tied at the end of five possessions, they alternate possessions until one team scores and one doesn't.

Running game clock: The clock will not stop after incomplete passes or when a player goes out of bounds, unless there is under two minutes remaining in the half. In the final two minutes, the game clock is stopped on incompletions and out-of-bounds plays. There will be no coaches' review, with all replay reviews coming from the replay official in the booth, and decisions will be made within 60 seconds. This is similar to the AAF and new Head of Officiating Dean Blandino has brought that method with him.

The officials are in Houston where XFL training camp is being held, learning the new rules in the classroom and on the field. He said the league's officials are experienced Division I college officials and the eight referees at each game will "have major bowl game experience and national-championship game experience".

Researchers Develop High-Performance, Low-Impact Lithium-Sulfur Battery
They also claim such a battery could power an electric auto for over 600 miles, or over 1,000km, on a single charge. Later in 2020, researchers plan to further trial the battery technology in cars and solar panels.

Adds Luck: "As we went through this process, we had to keep in mind that players in our league will have played in college, and a vast majority spent time in the NFL, some in the CFL".
