Xbox Series X: Project Scarlett's Next-Gen Name and Look Officially Revealed

The Xbox Series X will be released during the 2020 holiday season.

Earlier reports said that Microsoft would release two next-gen consoles codenamed, "Lockhart" and "Anaconda", the former would be a base level next-gen console while the latter would be a more powerful version of the same. Google last month launched its Stadia streaming service, allowing game play on any internet-connected device.

Based on these figures, one could speculate that the Xbox Series X will hit shelves at a price point of at least $499.
