Jeffrey Schlupp's strike 14 minutes from time helped Crystal Palace's 10 men earn a 1-0 win over Bournemouth and temporarily move up to fifth in the Premier League.

The Cherries were presented with the ideal chance to halt that run when Crystal Palace's Mamadou Sakho was sent off 19 minutes into Tuesday's clash at Selhurst Park.

However for Bournemouth, they've now misplaced their fourth consecutive league sport and keep in 12th whereas Crystal Palace have shot up the desk to fifth place with 21 factors, forward of the remaining midweek Premier League fixtures.
