The holiday season is in full swing at The White House!

A tree dedicated to Gold Star families that lost an immediate relative during military service stands at the beginning of the hallway while a tree decorated with the Trump family ornament - an American flag this year - glistens at the end of the colonnade.

First Lady Melania Trump and her decorators have transformed the White House into an extremely festive - and extremely white - tribute to the holiday season, as new video posted on her official Twitter account shows. "I am delighted to share this handsome exhibit of patriotism for all to see, and excited for everyone to experience of the #Christmas season!"

La dégradation devrait débuter en milieu de matinée et concernera principalement l'Ouest du département. De nombreuses inondations sont constatées, et les réactions des cours d'eau vont perdurer dans la nuit.

Melania Trump has debuted this year's White House Christmas decorations on social media - and they do not disappoint.

Displayed on the iconic eagle pier table in the State Dining room, the Gingerbread House features the South Portico of the White House and landmarks from across the country, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Space Needle, Mount Rushmore, the Alamo, Gateway Arch, Liberty Bell and the Statue of Liberty, according to the White House news release.

The White House previewed the decorations for journalists on Monday before Trump and the first lady were to depart for London.

The crash happened as major winter weather barreled through the region , FAA spokesperson Lynn Lunsford said. Twelve people were on the Pilatus PC-12 when it took off shortly before 12:30 p.m.

The decorations include more than 15,000 bows, 200 pounds of gingerbread, and 58 Christmas trees, the statement said. "When I travel the country, I am inspired by the hard-working people and families that I meet".

Last year, the First Lady was mocked for her choice of red Christmas decorations - people on Twittermocked a video of her walking through the "blood-red trees", comparing the scene to everything from "The Handmaid's Tale to ground meat".

Trump Responds to Lisa Page Interview
Maybe Lisa Page did, but I just took it as an overly lovey dovey conversation between Lisa Page & Peter Strzok. Mr Strzok and Ms Page were removed from the inquiry once their August 2016 messages came to light.

Compared to those choices, critics may have a tough time taking issue with this year's relatively traditional decoration decisions.
