The Witcher Netflix series has been renewed for a second season. If this sounds counterintuitive, it sort of is.
Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri will be back for more adventures.in Season Two.
Check out the announcement from Netflix below! The trailers for the Netflix adaptation have showcased its dark, brooding hero and its impressive (and expensive-looking) production design and visual effects, which promise to immerse audiences into a unsafe world full of monsters, elves, humans, gnomes, and more struggle to stay alive.
The synopsis from Netflix: "The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family". The series follows Geralt of Rivia, played by Henry Cavill, who is a monster hunter on The Continent, before and after he meets Yennefer, a sorceress, played by Anya Chalotra, and Ciri, played by Freya Allan.

It's set to arrive in style with eight episodes available to watch right off the bat - but despite the fact that we haven't actually seen any of it yet, the show has already been signed up for a second season.
Netflix should allow Hissrich and the show's creative team to take their time with this show. Let us know in the comment section below!
