Reports: Lions QB Stafford's status vs. Bears in doubt

ESPN reported late Saturday night that Stafford "is being told by some" not to play due to the back injury, but that the quarterback "his hoping to try to play through the pain".

As violence hits Hong Kong, its shares lead a decline across Asia
About 5.5 billion shares changed hands in USA exchanges, below the 6.8 billion-share daily average over the last 20 sessions. In Europe, Germany's DAX fell 0.4 per cent to 13,176 while the CAC 40 in France was down 0.1 per cent at 5,884.

Stafford is now considered week-to-week. Safe to say that all of this puts a major damper on that, no matter how much time Stafford is to miss. Given the apparent seriousness of the injury, it's unclear when Stafford will be able to return to action.

A representative of Bermuda laid a wreath on behalf of the country at a remembrance ceremony in Britain for the first time today. All three services played traditional music for the service, including the Last Post, played by Buglers of the Royal Marines.

There is a possibility that the Lions shut Stafford down for the rest of 2019. In Week 4, versus the Kansas City Chiefs, he was questionable to play up until kickoff. The back injury limited him in practice most of the week leading up to the Chicago game, casting doubt on whether he'd actually play. The report added that "no decision is likely until pregame warmups".

Guardiola after Liverpool defeat: 'I am so proud of my team'
But the Reds weren't done, producing this deadly counter attack just moments later. "I am so proud of my team, more than ever". It came after City had two penalty appeals for handball turned down. "Anfield is sure to be rocking".

Matthew Stafford has been ruled out of Week 10 with fractured bones in his back as doctors won't clear him to play. His absence leaves QB Jeff Driskel, who joined the Lions in mid-September, as today's starter. On the year, Stafford has the fourth-most passing yards in the National Football League (2,499) and second-most touchdowns (19), all while throwing on a 64.3% clip.
