Love stargazing? Then we have an exciting news for you as one of nature's most magical phenomenon is lined up for tomorrow. NASA's page explains, "In less than 30 minutes in the dark, your eyes will adapt and you will begin to see meteors".

Stargazers in Taiwan will have a chance to catch the Orionid meteor shower when it reaches its peak October 22, the Taipei Astronomical Museum said Monday. All you really need is a clear sky.

An astronomer uses a laser pointer to show the radiant of the Orionids at an observatory near the village of Avren east of the Bulgarian capital Sofia, Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009.

Orionid meteor shower is created by debris from "Halley Comet"; where the Earth passes through the dust and debris it leaves behind during the first of October till the first days of November every year. Among them was the time of 2006 to 2009, when the shower delivered upwards of 50 to 75 meteors for every hour at its pinnacle, AccuWeather noted.

Vanderbilt University professor Nicole Creanza, who was not involved in the study, said the findings were unusual among birds. While examining a bellbird specimen during that trip, Cohn-Haft was struck by the thickness of its abdominal wall.

"The naked eye is best to watch this type of thing", Mr Moore said.

Unfortunately, stargazers may be thwarted by a bright moonrise after midnight tonight, which will likely overpower the more faint meteors. The number of individual meteors seen from hour to hour and each year varies.

Knowing exactly how long the Orionids shower would last was a bit of a tricky question, Prof Horner said.

They can leave behind glowing trails of debris as the peices that enter earth's atmosphere grow hot due to the friction with air.

Each time that Halley's comet passes through the inner solar system on its orbit, its nucleus expels ice and rock particles into space.

EU lawmakers have no direct say on the bloc's foreign policy decisions but have the power to curb important EU funding to Turkey. Russian Federation has agreed to allow Turkey's operation, removing the risk of conflict between the two sides.

Orionids are also hard to see because they're so fast.

What are the Orionid meteors?

Skywatchers will have to stay up late to spot the Orionids: NASA says they are visible in both the Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere after midnight.

The best way to see a meteor shower is to find a place out of the city and escape the lights of cars, homes, street lights and such. Come prepared with a sleeping bag, blanket or lawn chair.
