PM Modi interacts with Bollywood celebs; SRK, Aamir hail govt initiative to popularise Gandhi’s ideals

Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan met PM Narendra Modi at an event celebrating 150 years of Mahatma Gandhi.

The focus was on inviting the film industry to create films and television shows that popularise Mahatma Gandhi and Gandhism.

The Prime Minister also released a video directed by Rajkumar Hirani which featured multiple Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Vicky Kaushal. The event took place at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi. "His thoughts reverberate far and wide", Modi was reported as saying.
