For a brief moment on Saturday, Simone Biles was tied for most gold medals in the gymnastics world championships. Her U.S. teammate Sunisa Lee took silver, her third medal of the championships, while Angelina Melnikova took bronze for Russian Federation.

Her victories on the beam and floor makes Biles the most decorated gymnast in history, surpassing the previous all-time record of 23 world medals won by men's star Vitaly Scherbo of Belarus in the 1990s.

Biles finally earned her 24th medal on the balance beam Sunday morning, delivering a almost flawless performance with a score of 15.066. "I had a few little mistakes, but I'm just going to work harder for next time", Olsen said.

As another title-winning score was announced in the arena, Biles punched the air in jubilation before joining celebrations with the USA team.

Carlos Yulo became the first Filipino gymnast to win a world title, prevailing on floor by one tenth.

Because Biles was the first to successfully land the skills on the world stage during last week's qualifying phase of world championships, both skills now bear her name, as is custom in the sport's official nomenclature.

"I couldn't tell you how many I have if you didn't tell me already". Scherbo competed at four world championships, against Biles' five, but the men's program contains more events. She had to settle for bronze in the event at the 2016 Olympics and last year's world championships in Doha.

"Right now, I couldn't be more happy with the performances I put out today".

Fellow Briton Max Whitlock, the men's Olympic pommel horse champion, won the world title in Stuttgart for the third time in his career.

Biles hasn't confirmed whether she'll continue to compete after next year's Olympics, so this could be her last world championships.

Euro 2020 : La France fait un grand pas vers la qualification
Le match aura lieu au stade de France à Saint-Denis, à côté de Paris. Ces matchs qualificatifs délivreront 20 des 24 billets pour l'Euro.

Earlier, Filipino teen Carlos Edriel Yulo, 19, won the men's floor title, bettering the bronze he won past year, by 0.1 points ahead of Israel's Artem Dolgopyat.

Dalaloyan also took bronze on the horizontal bar, behind Brazilian gold medallist Arthur Mariano, for his fourth medal this week, completing the set after an all-around silver and team gold. The scores - 15.333 and 15.466 - were the highest of the 16 total vaults performed by the eight women in the final. Even before the first medal was contested, she raised the standard of women's gymnastics by landing the two new moves on beam and floor.

Ibrahim Colak won on rings for Turkey with 14.933, beating Italy's Marco Lodadio and French bronze medalist Samir Ait Said.

Biles has said she is 99 percent sure these will be her final worlds.
