Jurgen Klopp accepted Manchester City make winning look easy after Liverpool's battling 2-1 victory at Chelsea, which came a day after the Premier League champions hammered Watford 8-0. We have seen that already, with every team making big steps.

"What I like the most is normally when it's 5-0 at half time the second half is not serious, it's boring but we did the opposite and we were more aggressive and made a very good second half".

This season's title race is expected to be a two-horse race between City and Liverpool and Klopp added: 'We knew that before the [Watford] game [the size of the task].

"We're six games in, we are not getting carried away", said Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers.

When David Silva and Sergio Aguero put the hosts two goals up inside seven minutes, it was obvious City were going to produce a goal fest.

It means they have become the first team in top-flight history to win their opening six matches of a top-flight season in two consecutive seasons.

Astonishingly, City scored again in the 15th minute, De Bruyne's corner nodded on by Nicolas Otamendi for Bernardo to head home.

The hosts built on that lift immediately as Ricardo Pereira equalised before James Maddison struck the victor from long range five minutes from time.

Leicester enjoyed a VAR-assisted 2-1 victory over Tottenham.

"There were a lot of brilliant pressing situations where we won the ball in the flawless space but then we didn't use that situation well enough and we could have had many more situations".

Serge Aurier thought he had doubled the visitors' advantage but VAR, to the delight of the home fans, ruled that Son Heung-min was offside during the build-up.

Sheffield United piled pressure on Everton manager Marco Silva, whose side were booed off after a 2-0 defeat at Goodison Park, the damage done by Yerry Mina's 40th-minute own goal and Lys Mousset's 79th-minute strike. From time to time we score, that helps to win the games but it's always really hard work for us.
