The Jalen Ramsey trade talks are dominating the National Football League discussion, even with the extremely talented Jaguars cornerback playing on Thursday night and unavailable to play until next week for any new team.
The Jaguars are reportedly trying to maximize their return on a Ramsey trade, asking for as much as 2 1st-round picks to acquire him.
Ramsey, 24, has started all 50 games since being drafted fifth overall in 2016. Since then, per Russini, one NFC team has offered a 2020 first and 2021 fifth-rounder for the star defensive back, while one AFC team has offered a 2020 first along with a player.
'House Hunters' star Suzanne Whang dead at 56
Whang's partner, Jeff Vezain , shared the news in a Facebook post after she died Thursday night at the couple's home. Vezain says he will try to keep fans up to date, and respond to as many queries as he can.
Despite Ramsey insisting that he wanted the focus to be on the game against arguably Jacksonville's biggest rival, his reported trade request has consumed media coverage this week. This, of course, isn't the first time the former Florida State standout has publicly toyed with leaving the Jags. Furthermore, why would Ramsey risk a new deal with massive guaranteed money (that would presumably come in the trade) to play in Thursday's game?
Despite a potential trade for Ramsey looming, he still suited up for the Jaguars Thursday night in their 20-7 win over the Tennessee Titans and finished the game with nine tackles and one forced fumble. We've sifted through the scuttlebutt and have identified the top five teams likely to trade for the former first-round pick.
Ramsey said Tuesday neither he nor his agent had anything to do with his trade request becoming public. Ramsey is a huge name in the Jaguars and there is no way they will send him out so easily.
Tom Brady rips National Football League for amount of penalties
ESPN also reports that there has been a 16.2% increase in total penalties compared to the first two weeks of last season. Brady wrote. "I'm turning off this game I can't watch these ridiculous penalties anymore".
But the moment that stands out was when Marrone didn't challenge Hopkins' first-down catch late in the first quarter. My time is up here in Jacksonville.' I said, 'I want to ask for a trade'. Ramsey described the locker room atmosphere as tough. "I feel like when he is on the team we are a whole lot better but I trust whatever happens and hope we can be the best we can be".
We'll see if he's instead with the Vikings. Ramsey continued to yell at Marrone as he walked by on the sideline, and moments later, players and coaches had to get between Ramsey and Marrone near the bench.
NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio drops out of the 2020 presidential race
Turns out voters around the country equally lacked enthusiasm for the mayor. "I think it's a genuine set back", Mr. Stringer, who plans to run for mayor in 2021, said in an interview.
