Samsung has launched the Galaxy M30s in India at a starting price of Rs 13,999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, going all the way to Rs 16,999 for the top-end variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Galaxy M30s however offers a gradient and glosst finish.

Samsung will be live streaming the launch event on its YouTube and Facebook page. On the front it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Reportedly, Samsung Galaxy M30s will feature a 6.4-inch display and will be equipped with 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage. The M30s might also come in two storage and memory of 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Another strength of the Galaxy M30 will be its massive battery, which has also been confirmed to be a 6,000mAh unit, one of the largest for any smartphone available in India. Apart from the 64MP camera, the Redmi Note 8 Pro also features 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensors on the back.

While the phone's overall design and display size remain identical to the older-generation model, the Galaxy M30s gets a new processor, operating system and camera modules. There's also a bigger triple camera bump and a physical fingerprint sensor on the rear.

The smartphone will feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display that will draw power from a highly powerful 6,000mAh battery.

Earlier today, Samsung launched two new smartphones in the Indian market further expanding its Galaxy M-lineup. Android Pie based on the One UI software. For selfies, the notch houses a 16MP front camera.

Under the hood, the Galaxy M30s gets an upgrade and gets powered by the newly launched Exynos 9611 SoC.

The phone will reportedly sport a 48MP primary camera with an f/2.0 lens, assisted by a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP super-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture.
