Many fans have been sitting around waiting for Infinity Ward to activate the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Early Access Beta servers on PS4, but for those holding out hope, it does not look like anything is happening today. The first two days of the beta will be available for PS4 owners who pre-ordered Modern Warfare. If you've got a PS4 and an internet connection, you should be good to go, though PlayStation Plus may be a requirement in some territories.
The second weekend beta test begins on September 19 and runs through September 23.
Multiple weeks of open beta tests for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are on the way. The game, which is the first installment in the Modern Warfare series since 2011, has already been shown off by streamers and content creators - while PlayStation 4 owners got their hands on the 2v2 Gunfight alpha.
Preload will be available before both Modern Warfare Beta weekends, allowing players to queue the game up in advance, rather than be forced to go through a lengthy download after the Beta's start time.
