Former Barcelona, Inter and Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o has appeared to confirm his retirement on social media after a 22-year career in senior football.

There, he won two Champions Leagues, four LaLiga titles, two Supercopa de Espana and one Copa del Rey.

After losing out in Pep Guardiola's Blaugrana revolution, the Cameroonian joined Inter Milan for the 2010/11 season - and duly became the first player ever to win back-to-back continental trebles.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that after a trophy-laden 22-year playing career, Eto'o has chose to hang up his boots.
