Lightning hit a septic tank at a home in Charlotte County, Florida and caused an explosion that burst pipes and shattered a toilet to pieces over the weekend.

A Florida couple's toilet was blown to pieces Sunday during a thunderstorm, WBBH reports.

"It was the loudest noise I've ever heard", Ward said. Fortunately, no one was using the toilet at the time of the strike. "We have nothing now".

When Ward stepped into her bathroom she found her toilet had shattered into hundreds of pieces.
