Now that we know the fate of our favorite Westerosians, news has slowly trickled out about the HBO smash hit's untitled prequel series, currently known as "Bloodmoon".

"Game of Thrones" author George R.R. Martin has released some new details on the state of Westeros in HBO's upcoming prequel of the epic fantasy - a series that so far has been kept under wraps.

George spoke to Entertainment Weekly about what kind of things fans can expect in the new show and it seems there's plenty of scope to bring the White Walkers back.

As for the Lannisters? Now that the story of Starks, Lannisters, and Targaryens has finally ended, the entire fandom of GoT is eagerly waiting to learn intrinsic details about its prequel.

She was spraying errors off her forehand - always the most likely wing to break down - but at least took the set to a tie-break. I went from, yeah, playing at the highest level of the sport to really struggling to do kind of day-to-day things.

Martin also says that Casterly Rock is occupied by a different family; "It's actually occupied by the Casterlys-for whom it's still named after in the time of Game of Thrones". That said, Casterly Rock is there, full of Casterlys.

HBO has multiple prequel spinoffs of Game of Thrones in the works that are scheduled to debut at some point in the future. And although the series will predate the arrival of dragons in Westeros, that does not mean other familiar creatures will not be roaming around. As per Martin, the prequel is also going to feature the White Walkers or The Others but there will also be other huge animals like mammoths. The most important is the possible show title.

The now untitled prequel (Martin suggests it could be called The Longest Night) hasn't yet been ordered to series by HBO, but that feels like a foregone conclusion. "That would be pretty good", he says. While the Lannisters may not have existed, the Starks-descendants of the First Men-are still around.

Martin said the prequel, like its parent show, will be an ensemble story, with no one lead as such.

The show boasts of a cast led by Naomi Watts along with Naomi Ackie, Denise Gough, Miranda Richardson, Josh Whitehouse, Jamie Campbell Bower, Sheila Atim, Ivanno Jeremiah, Alex Sharp, and Toby Regbo. It was always for supporting [categories] because the show is such an ensemble", he said, "I think that will be true for this show too.

The favourite family of GOT fans, the Starks, will be present in the show. It's a larger ensemble cast with no leads. But what's more honorable: building a kingdom through trickery, money, and reproduction, or through iron, blood, and possibly dark magic?
