The Raspberry Pi Foundation has launched the fourth generation of its eponymous single-board computer family, imaginatively called the Raspberry Pi 4 - and it's a considerable upgrade over its predecessors. The Pi 4 has a new processor, the Broadcom BCM2711. Those Cortex A72 cores feature much-improved single-core performance over the A53 cores found in the previous-fastest Pi, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+.
What hasn't changed over the years, though, is a major drawback of the design: A communication infrastructure that sees the system-on-chip (SoC) of every Raspberry Pi communicating with external devices over a single 480Mb/s USB 2.0 channel.

Earlier, PM Ahmed announced the government had put down a coup attempt in the autonomous Amhara state in the country's north. Since coming to power in April past year , Abiy has pushed to open up the once isolated, security-obsessed country.
You'll find the Raspberry Pi 4 up for sale at Raspberry Pi dot org right this minute. It can decode 4K videos at 60fps using HEVC/H.265, render OpenGL ES 3.0 graphics, and can even output 4K video to a monitor.

Bayliss still eager for England to play attacking cricket
Though their fourth encounter against Sri Lanka was abandoned due to bad weather conditions at Bristol County stadium. They are still fairly likely to make it through thanks to the number of wins - four - and their strong net run-rate.
Note, though, that the board has a pair of micro-HDMI ports, rather than the previous full-size connector, so you'll need to buy an adapter to use a standard HDMI cable - fortunately that accessory is a mere £1.50 (around $2, AU$3), or an official (4Kp60 capable) micro-HDMI to HDMI cable will set you back $5 (£4, $7). The Raspberry Pi org has decided to make more units of the 3GB version to start with but will adjust it manufacturing in response to demand. Speaking of connectivity, the board now has two USB 3.0 in addition to the two USB 2.0 ports and is now charged over USB-C instead of microUSB.
There's also the matter of the move of the ethernet port. The Raspberry Pi 4 pricing starts at $35 (1GB), $45 (2GB), and ends at $55 for the 4 GB DDR4 RAM version. For an extra $10 you can add another gig of memory. Here's the video showing off the new Raspberry Pi 4. The $120 bundle includes the 4GB Raspberry Pi 4, a case, a power supply and USB cable, a keyboard and mouse, a pair of HDMI cables and a 16GB micro SD card that has the latest Raspian OS pre-installed. It is available in the Raspberry Pi Store (online) and at the company's store in Cambridge, UK, as well as from a few authorized retailers.
