The New Jersey Devils are making moves.

On the second day of the NHL Draft, the salary cap crashed the party.

The New Jersey Devils acquired P.K. Subban from the Nashville Predators on Saturday in exchange for Steven Santini, Jeremy Davies and a pair of draft picks.

Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman and TSN's Pierre LeBrun both confirmed the trade and the details shortly before the start of the second round of the draft on Saturday at Rogers Arena.
