News broke this morning that the U.S. Office of Special Counsel - an independent government agency unrelated to the Mueller investigation - is recommending that Conway be removed from her job for repeated violations of the Hatch Act.
In its statement Thursday afternoon the White House attacked the OSC, calling its ruling on Conway "deeply flawed", "unprecedented", and "influenced by media pressure and liberal organizations".
"In doing so", the special counsel continued, "she has used her official authority to advocate for or against declared candidates for partisan political office".
Conway endorsed Ivanka Trump's apparel during a February 2017 interview with Fox News from the White House briefing room following reports that retailers, including Nordstrom Inc., had dropped the line amid declining sales.
"Blah, blah, blah", Conway said last month when asked about the violations.

White House adviser Kellyanne Conway is, apparently, in no mood to discuss her alleged violations of the Hatch Act. It goes on to detail the allegations further, and ultimately calls for Ms. Conway's "removal from federal service".
