One audience member who watched the recording of The Jeremy Kyle Show featuring Dymond discussing infidelity, said he was distressed after the lie-detector test results were revealed.
The arrangement, potentially to shield future earnings comes after it was claimed that the presenter, known for his aggressive interviewing style, was "afraid of being made a scapegoat" by ITV.
"You go on when someone has done something really bad but Jeremy Kyle will turn it around on you like you're the bad person, when you're not".
The test was created to prove Dymond's fidelity to his fiancee Jane Callaghan and when he failed Lucas-Marriott said that he "could not believe what he had heard".
A statement released this morning said the show, which has been on air for 14 years, would end.
Mr Dymond's body was found at an address in Grafton St, Portsmouth, on May 9.

Production of The Jeremy Kyle show has been ended, ITV has confirmed.
The show, which attracts around one million viewers per episode, is hosted by former insurance salesman Kyle and has run since 2005.
The House of Commons media select committee is to investigate whether TV companies give guests enough support. ITV said has brought in a policy where it now makes regular checks in on participants.
A producer on two chat shows that were made in Norwich and were forerunners for The Jeremy Kyle Show has said she quit while her integrity "was still intact".
The broadcaster said that it will continue to work with Kyle on other projects.

The renewal was also reported on by Deadline , which added that the show's lineup of judges is not yet set in stone. During this current season, famed multimedia personality Bobby Bones will took on the role of in-house mentor.
Ofcom is also set to launch a review.
TVNZ has been approached for comment in light of the new announcement by ITV.
