House Democrats FAIL in their attempt to over ride Trump's first veto

The Latest: Trump lauds outcome of Mueller report

House vote to stop Trump's border wall plan likely to fail

Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report is in, but the Democrats aren't dancing with Jim Acosta in the streets.

When Congress voted initially to block Trump's emergency declaration, it drew unanimous opposition from Democrats and opposition from some Republicans, especially in the Senate, where lawmakers objected that he was abusing presidential powers.

Trump presumably was relying on secondhand accounts of the report, which as far as is known to the public has been seen only by Barr and other top officials in the Department of Justice.

Part of that strategy involves congressional Democrats such as House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, both of whom are hard at work trying to move the goalposts to cover for the collapse of Russiagate by launching investigatory fishing expeditions in a last-gasp effort to find something - anything - they can use to attack Trump.

The Democratic-led House needs roughly 290 votes, two-thirds, to override the veto, which would require many more Republicans to join Democrats to oppose the president than when the chamber first passed the resolution, which was by a simple majority.

McCabe has said he anxious investigations into Trump's Russian ties and possible obstruction of justice would be shut down.

The Democratic-controlled House fell short Tuesday in its effort to override President Donald Trump's first veto, handing him a victory in his drive to spend billions more for constructing barriers along the Southwest border than Congress has approved. "So he failed to do that, but now all of a sudden he has the keys to the kingdom about a massive potential conspiracy that Russian Federation is involved in".

Former Independent Counsel Ken Starr talks about the process of a special investigation and what to possibly expect next from President Trump's political opponents.

Naturally, the liberal media ran with their pre-written narrative anyway, flooding the zone with stories about how President Trump was just pretending to want the report to be made public.
