President Donald Trump on March 17 questioned if "Saturday Night Live" ("SNL") and other similar late-night comedy shows were potentially colluding with the Democrats over their constantly biased treatment of him.

NBC didn't even air a new show on Saturday night, rather a repeat of the 2018 Christmas episode which parodied It's a Wonderful Life in its opening skit, in which Trump never became president and all those around him were infinitely happier because of it. But the FCC has said the equal time rule applies only to content that is authorized by a candidate or sponsored by his campaign, and the commission makes a broad exception for news coverage, ranging from The Howard Stern Show to the airing of presidential debates. Trump seems to be referring to the "equal time rule" which mandates that USA broadcast TV stations give equal air-time opportunities to opposing political candidates in prime-time if requested.

Last year, he vowed to take court action against police after a denied import application for semi-automatic rifles and parts. Gun City owner David Tipple said the alleged gunman bought four weapons and ammunition between December 2017 and March 2018.

Once again taking aim at "Saturday Night Live" and the late-night talk shows - this time after a rerun of "SNL" - Trump again asked if the FCC or the Federal Election Commission should look into these programs.

Trump has been incredibly clear about his disdain for "Saturday Night Live" for awhile now on Twitter, but his most recent attack on the sketch show is truly unhinged. There must be Collusion with the Democrats and, of course, Russian Federation! "Like an advertisement without consequences". Same with Late Night Shows, ' he wrote on Twitter. Maybe Obama didn't have as many "one-sided" sketches because doing presidential things isn't as amusing to put in a comedy as, I don't know, having an affair with a porn star?

Trump's call for the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to investigate the show is not a new criticism from the current head of the executive branch.

For the record, Trump's latest approval rating, according to the consistently most-favorable-to-Trump Rasmussen poll, is 48 percent. The lack of satirical balance, he averred, is "very unfair and should be looked into".

After Trump's response, "SNL" cast-member Chris Redd just had to jump in, laughing hysterically via emoji at how angry and upset the president got over a rerun. This is the real Collusion!'
