We whole world is waiting for the final season of Game of Thrones from the past two years.

HBO has updated its schedule to include the first two episodes of season 8, complete with runtimes.

Game Of Thrones Season 8's First Two Episodes Aren't Extra Long

In January, it was reported that the first two episodes would be 60 minutes, with the other four clocking in at 80, although the exact figures made this seem like a placeholder with the episodes not yet fully cut.

While the first half of the season will have fairly traditional runtimes for Game of Thrones, the back half is stuffed with lengthier episodes, very almost approaching feature-length runtimes. The report stated that while Episode 1 and 2 would be around 60 minutes each, the next four will be approximately 80. What D.B. Weiss and David Benioff want, is for fans to react like they did for the ending of Breaking Bad: 'I hope we'll have the same discussion as Breaking Bad where people were wondering if it was an A or an A +,' Weiss told EW.
