Details of the contract agreed upon between the Vikings and Barr were shared on Twitter by NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

Unvaccinated Boy Spends 57 Days In The Hospital After Reported Tetanus Infection

Although Barr's role transformed in Minnesota, his pass-rushing prowess remained fluid over the past five seasons, during which he notched 13.5 sacks and 31 quarterback knockdowns. The Vikings used Barr as an off-ball linebacker in their 4-3 scheme, and now will stay here instead of going into New York's 3-4 scheme.

The New York Jets made some minor moves earlier on Monday, including the signing of slot receiver Jamison Crowder from the Washington Redskins.

Barr is a three-time Pro Bowler and at 26 years old, gives Minnesota a cornerstone to continue building around. That being said, it's highly unlikely the Vikings went above $15 million per year, because that's roughly how much it would have cost to franchise tag Barr for the 2019 season.
