Space Jam 2, starring LeBron James, is coming to cinemas in 2021

LeBron James' Space Jam 2 scores 2021 release date

LeBron James' Space Jam 2 has its first poster ... and a far-off release date

An anticipated sequel to the 1996 Warner Bros. blockbuster "Space Jam" now has a release date for 2021 with LeBron James as its star, according to The Hollywood Reporter. LeBron James is set to star, just as Michael Jordan led the first movie, and Black Panther filmmaker Ryan Coogler is onboard as a producer with Terence Nance (Random Acts of Flynes) in the director's chair.

The third untitled Annabelle film also gets a new release date for this year of June 28, 2019, from a previous release date of the Fourth of July. And in two years, LeBron James will find himself in a similar situation next to Bugs. Are you excited for a Space Jam sequel or do you think it's been too long since the original? We're not sure what the plot of Space Jam 2 is, but we wouldn't be surprised if it's along the same lines, maybe even involving a rematch of some kind.
