However, it is portrayed in a highly disturbing manner, which can make you feel disgusted. The general public highly criticised the teaser, and producer and husband of late actress Sridevi, Boney Kapoor even sent a legal notice to the makers of the film Sridevi Bungalow starring Priya Prakash Varrier. The mystery thriller has her play an actress that seems heavily inspired by the life and death of Sridevi. Talking about her role she further said, "I will be playing the role of lady superstar Sridevi in the film". Director, Prasanth Mambully has, however, claimed that 'any resemblance to a real person, living or dead in the film is purely coincidental!' My film is a suspense thriller. "That is something you will know when the film is released". The makers claim that Sridevi is just a name of any lonely actress and they are not making a biopic on Sridevi. Sridevi's daughters, Janhvi and Khushi, are reportedly staying at their uncle's house till father Boney Kapoor returns from Dubai. The character's name is Sridevi. Boney Kapoor has filed a legal notice against the makers of the film. This also sparked rumours that the actress has been cast for Karan Johar's historical drama "Takht" which stars both Singh and Kaushal. She was soon flooded with film offers, most of which she turned down.
