The Philadelphia Inquirer's Keith Pompey reported that "Fultz is no longer in the Sixers' long-term plans" as the team's front office continues to bicker with Fultz's agent while the second-year player's shooting form becomes the subject of public ridicule.

Fultz will see a specialist in NY to look at his right shoulder and will remain inactive.

"Some sources have said that, despite the team's statements, Fultz is no longer in the Sixers' long-term plans".

According to reports, the 76ers have sent Fultz to several shoulder doctors throughout the season, but none of them have been able to find anything that would stop him from making shots. He has played only 33 games for them since then due to his mysterious shoulder problems.

Fultz has struggled mightily since being drafted by the club.

"I have given no indication to Elton Brand or anyone else that Markelle would prefer to be traded", agent Raymond Brothers told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

As frustrations between Markelle Fultz and the Philadelphia 76ers continue to grow, a report has surfaced suggesting the National Basketball Association club has accepted the 2017 No. 1 draft pick is not long for the team. Head coach Brett Brown said he would not comment on Fultz's status.

As Pompey suggests, trading Fultz could be hard.

However, since the team added four-time All-Star Jimmy Butler via trade earlier this month, Fultz has been bumped back to a reserve role.

The 76ers are considering dealing Fultz.

Fultz is now averaging 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists this season for the Sixers, while shooting just 41 percent from the field, 28 percent from three and 57 percent from the foul line. Through 21 games the Sixers' bench are averaging 35 points per game, but have dropped to 27 points per game in the six games since Butler joined (this article was written before their game against the Brooklyn Nets).
