If you are an Aston Martin aficionado, you may figure out the conceptual model of the SUV revealed at the 85th Geneva International Motor Show in 2015 had the same name. The very sporty utility vehicle will be called the DBX when it goes on sale in about a year.

Note that Aston Martin has another SUV in the works for its Lagonda premium brand, although this isn't expected before 2021.

"We have already developed and tuned DBX in the driving simulator, which has enabled us to make excellent progress in advance of the first physical prototype cars being available, said Aston Martin chief engineer, Matt Becker".

Trump picks handbag designer as envoy to South Africa
According to the Palm Beach Daily News , the South African-born entrepreneur has a legacy of lawsuits, past and present. Marks is the fourth member of the Mar-a-Lago club Trump has tapped for an ambassadorship.

For instance, where the concept featured two doors, there are four of them here, which is likely necessary in the name of practicality. "DBX is so much more than "just" an SUV; it will be the first model built at our brand-new facility in St Athan".

So far, testing has been simulated - now things are moving into the real world.

Aston Martin could create "beautiful dimensions" for the DBX because designers were not limited by using a shared platform when building the vehicle, Palmer said. Jag's got an SUV; so does Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Lamborghini.

China outlining potential trade concessions
The Chinese Commerce Ministry in Beijing didn't immediately respond to a fax seeking comment on Thursday. This meeting may prove to be a good opportunity for China, if not the last.

The Aston Martin DBX will be built at the firm's new St Athan plant in Wales and is scheduled to be unveiled in Q4 2019.

"The unique nature of DBX in the Aston Martin range means it requires a dedicated test programme", the company says, hence the Welsh Rally setting in these photos. Unlike the DBX concept which was merely a sportscar with jacked up ride height, the product version will adopt a conventional five-door body style with steeply raked rear windshield.

Speaking of power, this DBX will get a standard powertrain, probably the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from the rest of the lineup, but look for alternative powertrains coming in the next few years too.
