Mac Miller Died of Accidental Overdose of Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Alcohol

The coroner ruled the official manner of death as an accident.

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner, and as first reported by TMZ, Mac Miller died from a combination of cocaine, fentanyl, and alcohol.

Mac Miller's cause of death has been confirmed and it's something that has claimed the lives of many celebrities in recent years.

Law enforcement sources say it was clear to paramedics that Mac was dead long before they arrived.

In early September, Miller was found in the morning by his assistant who went into his bedroom to wake him.

The musician had fentanyl, cocaine and ethanol in his system, according to a toxicology report.

There was a 1/4-inch abrasion on the bridge of his nose, and there was blood coming out of one nostril. He had a history of drug and alcohol abuse, but his mother told investigators he had not overdosed in the past to her knowledge, or been hospitalized for any reason.

A sweep of Miller's home also found Xanax, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, and generic Adderall.

Last week, a number of musicians performed a tribute concert for Miller in Los Angeles.

Miller's death came just months after he split from Ariana Grande and weeks after he was charged with a DUI.
