According to the New York Times, Roscosmos will launch three astronauts, namely Anne McClain of NASA, Oleg Kononenko of Russian Federation, and David Saint-Jacques of Canada to the ISS.

The hiatus in human spaceflight caused by last month's failure of a Russian Soyuz rocket will be quite brief indeed.

When the Soyuz MS-10 spacecraft was destroyed in October only two and half minutes into the flight, it did more than place the lives of American astronaut Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Alexey Ovchinin into peril.

It's well known that Activision makes a lot of money from micro-transactions and Destiny 2 has lots of them. During this period of time, Battle.net users can claim Bungie's shared-world sci-fi shooter to own.

The astronaut's capsule landed about 15 miles outside the city of Zhezqazghan in central Kazakhstan. It's a miracle that neither of the astronauts was injured.

After investigating the incident, Russia's space agency, Roscosmos, determined that one of the rocket's boosters failed and remained stuck to the main rocket body instead of peeling off.

Because of the faulty sensor, the lid of a nozzle on one of the side boosters did not open, thereby preventing the boosters from falling away cleanly.

Likely, error occurred during Assembly of the rocket at the Baikonur cosmodrome.

"It was damaged during the assembling of the strap-on boosters with the core stage (the Packet) at the Baikonur Cosmodrome", said Roscosmos, adding that the Emergency Rescue System functioned properly and the crew acted accordingly. Roscosmos said the problem will be fixed and plans to attempt another launch on 3 December.

Japan also announced today the release of its H-II Transfer Vehicle-7 (HTV-7) resupply ship, also called the Kounotori, from the station's Harmony module.

Nearly three weeks ago, a Soyuz rocket carrying a NASA astronaut and a Russian cosmonaut failed in mid-flight, 31 miles above Earth's surface. Roscosmos plans to launch the Progress 71 resupply mission on November 16, and is targeting the launch of the Expedition 58 crew including NASA astronaut Anne McClain for December 3, pending the outcome of the flight readiness review. It is a method a capsule uses to return to earth slowly at a precise angle descent.
