Three takeaways from the Red Sox’s Game 2 ALCS win

On a night when clickers were put to good use in Boston - for those who didn't get creative with multi-screen setups - the Patriots added a second win by outdrawing the Red Sox, playing Game 2 of the ALCS, in the TV-ratings battle. With a travel day coming on Monday, the Red Sox will have additional time to evaluate his status.

One night after Justin Verlander pitched Houston to a 7-2 victory in the series opener, Cole was unable to duplicate the success of his fellow hard-throwing right-hander. Game 3 is slated for a 5:09 PM ET start on Tuesday.

It was the first-ever post-season matchup of No. 1 overall draft picks, with Price going first to Tampa Bay in the 2007 draft and Cole the top pick by Pittsburgh in 2011. We're just happy when Price doesn't bury his team in the first two innings. Both pitchers squandered leads. They delivered the victory.

The Sears Bankruptcy Is a Cautionary Tale for Hedge Fund Managers
Three companies that sell items at Sears told Reuters this week that Sears had missed payments to them over the past few weeks. In the UK, Toys R Us went into administration, closing 105 stores across the nation, after taking a huge hit in sales.

He seemed to be headed in the same direction falling behind 4-2 after three innings, but retired the Astros in order in the fourth on 10 pitches.

Sale allowed just one hit in four innings against the Astros in Saturday's Game 1 at Fenway, but walked four batters, saw his velocity uncharacteristically low for much of the outing and struggled with his command - especiall with his tradmark slider. Change the outcome of at least one of these reasons and we probably see Craig Kimbrel closing out the ninth instead of one of the weaker links in the bullpen putting the game out of reach. He then allowed a double to George Springer and a single to Jose Altuve, which cut the Astros deficit to two.

That threat didn't last very long, as Bregman flied out on Kimbrel's second offering to end the game. This time, the red-bearded right-hander put another fright into the Red Sox, surrendering a two-out run and once again - this time facing Astros third baseman Alex Bregman - pinning his own left fielder to the wall (albeit the short porch of the Green Monster) to catch the final out.

The Pretty in Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch
He said learning more about cancer prevention and having conversations about it is also a good way to spread awareness. Screening mammograms have been show to be useful in reducing the incidence and prevalence of breast cancer.

The 28-year-old outfielder stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and two outs. By that time, Bradley was standing on second base and the Red Sox had a 5-4 lead, as all three baserunners scored.

The Boston offense gave Price a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the third with a three-run double by Jackie Bradley Jr., and he thanked them with a 1-2-3 top of the forth. Benintendi singled to score Betts and scored himself on a single by Rafael Devers, who was making his first appearance of the series.

Patriots permanently ban fan who threw beer at Tyreek Hill
But the Patriots and quarterback Tom Brady prevailed in the end, taking a wild 43-40 triumph. "Gronk, stand up", Brady said. So, instead of masking it in the usual language of football audibles, Brady simply told Gronkowski what he wanted.
