SpaceX launches satellite, makes 1st successful on-land landing

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carried an Argentinian Earth-observation satellite into space Sunday and for the first time landed a first-stage booster back at its California launch site.

The main aim of the mission is to place the SAOCOM 1A satellite which is into the orbit.

The SpaceX launch marked a continuation of Elon Musk's company's efforts to develop reusable rockets with the goal of saving costs and bringing in more business.
