Troubled receiver Josh Brown took to Instagram on Saturday night, thanking the Browns organization ahead of his impending release.

According to NFL Network: "As many as five teams are researching possibly trading for (Gordon)".

Gordon missed most of training camp on a leave of absence to focus on his ongoing recovery with addiction.

Jefferies has an "underperform" rating and a $20 price target for L Brands shares - 28% below where they are now trading. L Brands Inc., which acquired the brand in 1985, said that the 23 Bendel stores will turn out the lights in January.

Cleveland parted ways with Gordon, 27, Saturday afternoon after six seasons with the team.

The expectation is that the Browns will attempt to trade Gordon on Monday, but if there are no takers, he will be released outright, officially becoming an unrestricted free agent. Despite his huge talent, Gordon's off-field behavior, namely his struggles with substance abuse, has cast a heavy shadow on a once-promising career. "I'm glad I was able to have the opportunity and it's good to be here and I feel grateful for the opportunity to have the chance to come back out here and be with my teammates and enjoy this attractive atmosphere".

He ended the post by writing, "P.S".

The news came several hours after Gordon was listed as out for Sunday's Week 2 game at New Orleans due to a hamstring injury. He was only targeted three times and recorded one 17 yard reception for a touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers in their 21-21 Week 1 tie.

The Browns selected Gordon in the second round of the 2012 Supplemental Draft. "Anybody need a deep threat wide receiver?"

Jon Gruden has quickly built the oldest roster in the National Football League, and Gordon last playing a full season in 2013 might fit that broader template.

For as much talent as Gordon has, this also has as much to do about the future of the Browns as it does Gordon. He did not play in either 2015 or 2016.
