News hit a couple days ago that Oscar nominee Alec Baldwin (The Cooler) had joined Todd Phillips' Joker origin movie as Thomas Wayne, the father of Bruce Wayne/Batman. Pictures film entirely due to scheduling issues.

The surprise move comes just a couple days after Warner Bros. confirmed his casting as Thomas Wayne, the father of Batman/Bruce Wayne.

"I'm no longer doing that movie", the 60-year-old actor told U.S. today, citing "scheduling" issues.
