Martin McNair said he thought his son was having a seizure based on an initial call he received from Maryland, and that it was "kind of hard to understand or wrap our minds around the severity of a heatstroke".
"Jordan was the type of person who would give his all, give his best, because someone asked him to do something", McNair's mother Tonya Wilson said to GMA. It pushed them to look at him as being exhausted and out of shape, to curse at him as he was literally failing.
"This particular injury isn't something that just happened to Jordan; it happens all the time", Martin McNair said.
