'The Nun' ad removed from YouTube for being too scary

YouTube has yanked a six-second ad for the upcoming horror movie, "The Nun", because people complained that it was too scary, Variety and other entertainment outlets report.

Luckiy, someone copied and shared the viral ad, so watch while you can... if you dare...

Responding to the warning, Youtube appreciated the help and removed the horror clip stating that the ad tends to violate their privacy concerns and will no longer run as an ad. Then again, some Twitter commenters are hypothesizing that Warner Bros. distributed the ad with the intention of getting it pulled, in order to get The Nun some publicity in a saturated horror market.

Omarosa's White House recordings fuel Trump woes
Tapper then shared Trump's other tweets about Newman to suggest he only retained her because she " said great things" about him. Maxine Waters. "He doesn't know how to control himself". "I think it's really sad what she's doing at this point".

As part of an innovative marketing strategy, The Nun movie makers uploaded a short teaser advertisement on YouTube. YouTube user "wigstle." saved a copy of the ad, viewable through this link, and uploaded on August 12 for anyone curious, and courageous enough, to view.

YouTube's parent company, Google, has an advertising policy that prohibits "shocking content", and any ad featuring "violent language, gruesome or disgusting imagery, or graphic images or accounts of physical trauma" - plus those "that are likely to shock or scare" - are prohibited.

Story-wise, we understand The Nun takes place long before New Line's core Conjuring series - 1952, to be precise, when a Romanian monastery was graced (i.e. terrified) by Valak's presence.

The Nun stars Demian Bichir as a priest named Father Burke and Taissa Farmiga as a novitiate, Sister Irene. "Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in 'the Conjuring 2,' as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned".

The Nun will hit theaters on September 7th.

"If you're even a casual fan of horror movies, you know what a jump scare is", writes Slate.
