On Friday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders released a statement condemning the book.

Trump's pushback came after Manigault Newman released another recording Monday. "I'm wondering, is he honest?" "Sorry!" the president added.

Over the weekend, Manigault-Newman released the recording of Kelly notifying her of her firing.

This time it's a recording of President Donald Trump admitting he didn't know she was sacked from the White House. She begged me for the job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok.

After two days of questions from NBC News, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said Sunday that Henry Childs II, a Commerce Department official on loan to the White House's Office of Public Liaison since May, is carrying out numerous duties Manigault Newman had as an assistant to the president and director of communications for that office.

Conway said that, in her more than two years working with Trump, she has never heard him use a racial slur about anyone. She did not play that recording on the show. The White House has not denied it, but The Associated Press has not independently verified it's Trump.

It would...sorta...make sense. Donald seemingly doesn't really know what's going on, certainly when it comes to Omarosa.

He even revealed that when Kelly became chief of staff, he told him she was a "loser" and "nothing but problems". I did not know that. "You leave the room and he probably has a nickname for you", she said.

In an appearance on Fox News on Monday morning, White House spokesman Hogan Gidley declined to say whether Trump had specifically ordered Manigault Newman's firing but blasted her claims that Kelly was in charge as "absolutely ludicrous and ridiculous".

The White House has said her claims about his language are false. "I'm not going to get into the tick tock of who knew what and when".

First off, why did it take Donald Trump 23 minutes in between him writing the first half of that message and the second?

"There's multiple tapes, let's be clear about that", she said. Copies of both documents were obtained by The Post.

Many have questioned Manigault Newman's claims, however. The former White House staffer has a new book out, and the recordings are part of an effort to drum up publicity.

In this tape, allegedly recorded shortly after the conversation with Chief of Staff John Kelly that ended Manigault-Newman's White House career, the president is heard saying he had no knowledge of Manigault-Newman's firing.

"It's come to my attention over the last few months that there's been some pretty, in my opinion, significant integrity issues related to you", Kelly is heard saying, citing her use of government vehicles and "money issues and other things" that he compares to offenses that could lead to a court-martial in the military.

"If I didn't have these recording, no one in America would believe me", she continued. "What happened?" Trump is allegedly heard saying on the tape. Manigault Newman has written that such a recording exists but has not provided evidence. "Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd asked.

Then moments later he apologized for attacking her, but said he had to because the "Fake Media" would not cover her fairly.

Immediately after the recording, an NBC News reporter says the network does not know what was said before or after the brief exchange - which means that the network did not check to see how heavily edited the audio was before running it on the air. She also said there are three sources in her book that corroborate her accusation.

Her decision to make a secret tape inside the Situation Room, used by presidents to make top-level decisions on national security, was sharply condemned by Ms Sanders.

According to Manigault Newman, such messages were sent when Melania wore a pink "p***y bow" blouse to the presidential debate after Donald Trump was caught on camera uttering the words "grab 'em by the p***y" in a past conversation with Access Hollywood's Billy Bush. Thank you. Omarosa. I mean I did help make her a star, in all fairness.
