Forecasters have issued a heat warning for the South Thompson including Kamloops, and the Okanagan including Vernon, Kelowna and Penticton as daytime temperatures are expected to reach or exceed 35 Celsius today, August 7. Overnight minimum temperatures will only recover to the upper teens to 20 degree mark.
